The European Union’s (EU) General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) enforcement begins May 2018. The Regulation requires organizations to not only be able to track the collection, use, transmission and removal of EU citizen data but also disclose breaches almost immediately upon detection. Key provisions include Article 17, the “right to portability”, Article 18, “right to erasure”, and Article 23, the implementation of reasonable measures to protect personal information against loss or exposure.
Being able to demonstrate that proper processes and technologies are in place to monitor and report activity is critical to compliance. To that end, InteliSecure provides organizations services to assess their overall GDPR readiness and assess, build, implement and maintain processes and technologies to help meet regulation requirements. Many of the services we offer also help organizations meet the requirements of other data privacy regulations around the globe.
